At Odd Cat’s we not only sell new & used books, but we are proud to showcase many of our talented friends and neighbors!
Alongside our wide book selection, you’ll find an eclectic array of locally made offerings ranging from pottery and prints to woodworks and jewelry. Our makers are always changing, and their products are always evolving! What you won’t find here is a coffee shop!
We are a BYOC operation – Bring Your Own Coffee 😁 (lids please!) There are some really lovely cafes in town where you can grab a cup and then head on down to the bookstore and hang out!
We are easily located on SR-145 (Railroad Ave.) and steps away from a cool, shady park by the Dolores River!

In spite of what my husband might say, I did NOT open a bookstore because I ran out of room at home!
This shop is my offering to our community: an offer of a comfortable & friendly place to share conversation, coffee, news, and ideas.

Crooked Tail Ned Nederlander

I adopted Angie back in 2017.
My tail was crooked because a shelter worker slammed it in a cage door when I was just a wee kitten. Mom and dad had just gotten home from vacationing in Nederland, CO and they decided to mark that great trip by naming me Ned.
I'm good at making Mom move at a slower pace. And I REALLY enjoy holding her papers down, especially if she's working on them! I get lots of hugs and head skritches and now my face is all over the internet!
